baltimore couple photographer: jake & cait

I knew it was going to be a good session when these two were laughing together before I'd finished pulling my camera out. And seriously, how cute are they. They've only been married for six months and still so blissfully in love. Jake & Cait were never able to fit an engagement session in, so this kind of served as a substitute. 

I'm quickly finding that one of my favorite things about being a portrait photographer is getting to observe the way a husband admires his wife. Every woman deserves to see how very loved she is. 

On a slightly different note, a bit of exciting news I've been eager to share. I received the most amazing opportunity to be a second shooter at weddings for Meghan of Meghan Rose Photography. I've admired her work for so long and after meeting her when she took our family pictures I've loved her even more. When she offered me the chance at assisting her with weddings this year I was over the moon with excitement and after the first two weddings we've done together, I can assure you it's been more than a dream! You can see the first wedding I helped with here and the second one was just last Saturday so it's not up yet. Meghan has been so amazing to work for and with and it just makes me so happy to be part of something so wonderful. 

I keep having to pinch myself lately. This is my life!
